KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional (BN) will make an en bloc decision on which party to support to form a government.
"I think there will not be any individual SD (statuary declarations). It will be en bloc," said Sungai Besar Umno division chief Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos today.
However, he was still determining if the coalition would decide today.
Umno is holding a Supreme Council meeting to deliberate on the offers made by Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) to form a government.
The party's support will determine which party will have a simple majority in the parliament.
Jamal also said a press conference would be held to urge MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong to step down from his position.
"We will defend our president (Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi). It should be him (Wee) to step down," he added. - NST
