COVID-19 | The Health Ministry said 433 new daily Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, bringing the total cumulative cases to 5,028,223.
Active cases currently stood at 11,696, down 19.9 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Kuala Lumpur (53)
Sarawak (49)
Kedah (31)
Malacca (29)
Kelantan (25)
Johor (20)
Penang (20)
Pahang (19)
Perak (18)
Putrajaya (13)
Sabah (12)
Negeri Sembilan (11)
Terengganu (6)
Perlis (3)
Labuan (0)
No deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday.
Over the past week, an average of 2 people were reported to have died of Covid-19, while the average for the past 30 days was 4.8, indicating that Covid-19 deaths are on the downtrend.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,859 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
There are 581 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 31 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Sabah (65) followed by Selangor (54) and Kedah (30). - Mkini
