Central PAS committee member Nasrudin Hassan and former Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin were today announced as the state liaison chiefs of Pahang and Selangor Muafakat Nasional (MN) respectively.
MN chairperson Annuar Musa said the time has come for the NGO to start setting up at the state and district levels after their membership reached 30,000.
“The establishment of state liaisons will start in Sabah on Feb 5 followed by the federal territories, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, and others,” he said in a Facebook post last night.
Annuar previously announced Zuraida as the MN deputy president.
The former Ketereh MP kickstarted a recruitment drive for MN a day after his Umno membership was terminated on Dec 8 last year. He was also dropped as a BN candidate in the 15th general election.
Annuar's MN is an association registered with the Registrar of Societies and is not to be confused with the now-defunct political pact between Umno and PAS - signed in September 2019.
Meanwhile, Annuar also announced the appointment of Jismit Japong and Justine Jinggot as state liaisons for Sabah and Sarawak respectively. - Mkini
