Ukraine Has Lost 157,000 Dead 300,000 Wounded

 Just an update on the war in Ukraine. Colonel Douglas MacGregor says Ukraine has lost 122,000 killed in combat and another 35,000 missing in action. That is a total of 157,000 dead. Another 300,000 or more have been wounded in 11 months of fighting.  The Ukrainian Army has been quite decimated and will not be able to withstand these  many killed and wounded. 

Russian losses are far less than Ukraine - 15,000 to 20,000 so far but the exact figure is difficult to pin down. These are still ghastly numbers.  

Here is some news from the BND (German intelligence) which says that hundreds (three digit number) of Ukrainians are getting killed every day around Bakhmut alone.

Jan 21, 2023 - Germany's foreign intelligence service is alarmed by losses the Ukrainian army is suffering in fighting against Russian forces in the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut, news magazine Der Spiegel reported on Friday. The Ukrainian army is losing a three-digit number of soldiers every day, the BND intelligence service told a group of Bundestag lawmakers.

 

Looks like the UK, US and NATO are fighting a proxy war right down to the last Ukarinian soldier.
