The center stage has shifted. 

 

His friends are beginning to forget the main character behind the scandal.

They will keep the main character "wrapped up", out of sight and to roast slowly - over 12 years. A bit like a Beef Wellington that is wrapped up in pastry and roasted - but usually only for 40 minutes.

 

 

A Beef Wellington is cooked from batang pinang or tenderloin which is a tasty cut.

 

The main character however has been abandoned by his colleagues as a distasteful cut.  

He does not get Press anymore. The hired cheerleaders are no more. It has become 'boss kau'.
