
KUALA LUMPUR: A flash flood struck Kampung Melayu Subang in Shah Alam on Sunday night, with no evacuations reported.
The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said it received a call at 8.30pm and dispatched five personnel from the Bukit Jelutong station.
Firefighters arrived at 8.47pm.

Water levels were estimated at 0.5 metres, about knee height, in parts of the area.
Operations commander Marzu Abdullah said water levels were receding as the rain eased.
No casualties were reported and no temporary relief centre was opened. - NST
