Cops track driver who hit 12 vehicles in 20km chase

 Penang police chief Azizee Ismail says the driver of the car was flagged down for inspection in Green Lane but refused to stop.

 Penang police are tracking down a driver who hit 12 vehicles while being pursued by a patrol unit for over 20km before escaping yesterday.

A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media, Bernama reported.

Penang police chief Azizee Ismail said the driver of the car was flagged down for inspection in Green Lane. However, the driver sped off towards Persiaran Gurney.

The police chase went on for about 20km but the driver escaped.

Azizee said police are now locating his whereabouts.

He said 12 people have reported their vehicles being hit during the chase. - FMT
