The national singles player sees 'some shortcomings' after his failure to win any points for Malaysia in the campaign.

Jun Hao said he was clearly disappointed with his performance after failing to contribute any points for the national team in the tournament.
When asked whether the Thomas Cup outing was the biggest setback of his career, he said: “Yes.” Jun Hao, who played first singles in the tournament, said he wanted to move on from the unhappy episode and work harder on his game.
“Personally, I feel my performance this time was not good enough. Maybe there were some shortcomings. However, there are upcoming tournaments. So now I just want to regain my form as quickly as possible. I will reassess my performance,” he said after arriving home from Denmark.
Men’s doubles player Tee Kai Wun said this year’s Thomas Cup campaign provided him with valuable experience despite Malaysia’s defeat to China at the quarter-finals.
He said the opportunity to play with different partners served as the best platform for him to gain experience. “It’s a good thing for me because I got to play with many partners. From there, I was able to gain new experience with different partners,” he said. - FMT
