Shah Alam police chief says two 15-year-old male students filed separate reports yesterday against the man who is believed to be an employee of the college.

Shah Alam police chief Sarudin Samah said police received reports yesterday from the two students, who are enrolled at a college in the Glenmarie area, alleging that they had been assaulted by an individual believed to be an employee of the institution.
“The first victim alleged that he was molested in the restroom of the college dormitory, while the second victim claimed he was sodomised at the suspect’s house in Section 18, Shah Alam.
“The suspect has been identified and is believed to be a local man in his 30s. Checks revealed that he has a previous criminal record involving sexual offences against children. Efforts to locate and arrest the suspect are actively under way,” he said in a statement today.
Sarudin said the first case is being investigated under Section 14 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, while the alleged sodomy case is being investigated under Section 377C of the Penal Code.
He urged anyone with information related to the incidents or the suspect’s whereabouts to contact investigating officer Razi Sahari at 019-5717076 or Zamri Abdul Rahman at 011-1665 2402 to assist in the investigation. - FMT
