KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 — A Malaysian motion graphics artist has gone viral after transforming familiar road and traffic signs into playful animated visuals that have attracted tens of thousands of views online.

According to a post on X by Daily Express Malaysia, the creative work by user aizat.phrdz in collaboration with Places Malaysia has been circulating widely on social media, earning attention for its imaginative reinterpretation of everyday signage.

The animated visuals reimagine routine road symbols into dynamic motion graphics, giving a fresh and artistic spin to objects typically overlooked in daily life.

The video, shared on X, has garnered 93.5K views. However, reactions in the comments section were mixed, with some users raising practical concerns about whether such animated signage would work in real-world traffic conditions.

One user, CitizenX, questioned the feasibility of such designs, suggesting they could instead be overtaken by commercial advertising space.

Another user, phlegm, said animated signboards might be difficult for drivers to read quickly, especially on highways where vehicles move at high speed, adding that transitions between animations could cause drivers to miss important information.

Meanwhile, a third user, Pooh Bear, pointed out a more basic issue, noting that some road signs are often poorly placed or obstructed by trees, making them difficult to notice in the first place.
