The home minister urges all parties to allow the legal process to take its course, following the resubmission of the investigation papers.

Home minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, in a written parliamentary reply, said the probe papers were resubmitted to the AGC on four occasions – Dec 16, 2025; Dec 29, 2025; April 14, this year and most recently on May 25.
“As the investigation papers are still under review and further consideration by the AGC, the ministry urges all parties to allow the legal process to take its course in accordance with the law, so that justice can be duly served,” he said.
Saifuddin was responding to a question from RSN Rayer (PH-Jelutong) regarding updates on the investigation.
In May, federal criminal investigation department director M Kumar said the police received further instructions each time the probe papers were submitted to the AGC.
He added that statements were recorded from a total of 63 witnesses.
In the incident, which occurred at about 4.30am on Nov 24 last year, three men aged between 24 and 29 were shot dead after one of them allegedly attacked a police officer with a parang.
Investigations were opened under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder. However, in December, the AGC directed that the case be reclassified as murder. - FMT
