The police’s foreign relations unit and Interpol’s national central bureau in KL are working closely to determine their location.

Saifuddin said police are actively working to track down Naimah and her two sons, Amir and Amin Zainuddin Daim, as they are wanted to assist in an investigation into an alleged plot to topple the government.
The trio are needed to complete the investigation, he added.
“Based on intelligence and preliminary checks by the authorities, the relevant subjects are currently believed to be overseas, in Europe to be specific.
“The police’s foreign relations unit and Interpol’s national central bureau in Kuala Lumpur are working closely to determine their actual location,” he said in a written parliamentary reply to Lim Lip Eng (PH-Kepong).
Saifuddin added that the police acted according to the law, without prejudice or selective agendas, to safeguard the nation’s security.
Earlier this year, Naimah denied any involvement in an attempt to destabilise the government, calling the allegations “false and preposterous”.
Bukit Aman later said police had been trying to contact Naimah to assist in their probe into the alleged plot to topple the government, with the statements of 17 witnesses taken.
Naimah’s lawyers maintained that she and her sons remained fully contactable by the cops and cooperative with the investigation “through their lawyers”. - FMT
