KUALA LUMPUR: Several roads around Jalan U Thant will be temporarily closed from Monday until Jan 31, 2027, for underground pipe-jacking installation works.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said the closure involves the exit from Jalan U Thant to Jalan Tun Razak near Regal House, and the entrance from Jalan Tun Razak to Jalan Langgak Golf near the Iraqi Embassy.

It said Jalan Langgak Golf will also be converted into a one-way street for vehicles exiting toward Jalan Tun Razak throughout the period.

"Road users from Jalan Tun Razak heading towards Jalan U Thant, Jalan Taman U Thant, Jalan Madge, Persiaran Ampang Hilir, and Jalan Langgak Golf must use Jalan U Thant as the alternative entrance.

"Motorists from Jalan U Thant, Jalan Taman U Thant, Jalan Madge, Persiaran Ampang Hilir, and Jalan Langgak Golf heading towards Jalan Tun Razak must use Jalan Langgak Golf as the exit," DBKL said in a statement.
