IPOH: A woman was injured after her leg was trapped under her car which moved suddenly while she was opening the gate of her house this afternoon.
The Perak fire and rescue department said firefighters responding to a 999 call found the 38-year-old woman with her leg trapped under a Proton Wira at 3.45pm
“She was believed to have been opening the gate to her house when the car, with its engine running, moved suddenly, causing her to fall and get trapped under the vehicle,” the department said in a statement today.
Bystanders tried to rescue her but were unsuccessful. Firefighters raised the car to extricate the woman. - FMT
