Hisham implicitly wants Anwar to zip it, says Rizal

Prominent social activist, Hishamuddin Rais' call for PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim to not pull PKR's strings from prison has a deeper meaning, believes Rizal Mansor, the special aide to the prime minister's wife.
"Hishamuddin said that outside of jail, Anwar will say all sorts of things and cause conflict in PKR.
"When Anwar is in jail, he is not receiving the right information. In other words, Hishamuddin is saying: From inside or outside the jail, it's better for Anwar to keep quiet and go about his business.
"Those were the views of Anwar's good friend and reformasi movement veteran," wrote Rizal on Facebook today.
Earlier today, Hishamuddin, who was a prominent face of the reformasimovement, wrote a piece urging Anwar to focus on writing his "magnum opus" which will be widely anticipated once he is released next year.
The activist said that Anwar's present attempts to steer how PKR manages ties with PAS has caused unnecessary confusion ahead of the general election.
On Sept 2, Anwar issued a statement urging party members and supporters to allow party leaders to decide how best to handle cooperation within Pakatan Harapan.

Following this, party leaders both forand against working with PAS claimed that Anwar was supportive of their cause.
PAS has officially ended 18 years of cooperation with PKR over alleged backstabbing, especially for supporting Amanah during the Kuala Kangsar and Sungai Besar by-elections last year.
However, some PKR leaders are still open to cooperation with PAS in order to prevent multi-cornered contests in the next general election. - Mkini
