'Voting PAS is voting for BN'- Dr M tells PAS leaders, members to repent

Dr Mahathir Mohamad has claimed that voting PAS is akin to casting the ballot for BN and supporting the transgressions of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's administration.
"The sin which is shouldered by wrongdoers will be shouldered by those who support the wrongdoers as well.
"Therefore, PAS leaders and members should repent," said the Pakatan Harapan chairperson in a blog posting this evening.
Previously, PAS Youth chief Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi claimed that a vote for Harapan would be a vote for DAP.
In his blog post, Mahathir claimed that race, religion and country were not important to PAS nor is the removal of the Najib government.
"For PAS, what is important is its enmity with Amanah and DAP. For PAS, its party is more important than everything else.
"Losing (in the election) is not an issue as long as PAS contests," he added.
PAS favours the kleptocrats
Mahathir argued that PAS' decision to not cooperate with Harapan was intended to hand BN victory due to multi-cornered contests.
"They were invited to join the alliance against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, but PAS placed conditions that were intended to reduce Harapan's votes.
"PAS' conditions were designed to help BN win," said Mahathir.
He added that history has shown that PAS only does well in elections if they are in a formidable coalition and the party was now preparing to be trounced in the west coast of the peninsular.

"What is clear is that if PAS contests against BN and Harapan, the Malay vote will be split in three. In this situation, PAS, no matter how insignificant, will reduce Harapan's votes.
"In other words, a three-cornered fight thanks to PAS will result in the victory of BN's kleptocratic leader, not PAS.
"For PAS, it is not about race, religion and country. Their priority is not the removal of the kleptocratic government," he said. - Mkini
