Here is the latest volcano news from Sulawesi. There has been another volcanic eruption.
Mount Soputan in North Sulawesi spewed ash four km on Wed (Oct 3)
ash headed westward and northwestward of crater
exclusion zone declared 4 km from crater
extended to 6.5km for areas in southwest of crater

My comments :
Indonesia has been seeing earthquakes and volcanic activity since August. In Lombok over 100 people died in August.
As close neighbours perhaps we should send our Quick Response Emergency Teams to assist Indonesia - if they have not already left.
Rescuing people trapped under rubble, emergency field hospitals and food aid will go a long way to help people in need.
