3.20pm: D'wharf Hotel - As Harapan candidate Anwar Ibrahim attends a programme with chef Fazley Yaakob, he is questioned on fellow by-election candidate Mohamad Saiful Bukhari Azlan once again bringing up the accusation that he was sodomised by the former.

"Let him be... let him be," is all the Pakatan Harapan de facto leader will say on the matter.

Anwar was convicted of sodomising Saiful, his then personal aide, in 2008, a decision the Federal Court upheld in 2015. Anwar, however, received a full pardon after the 14th general election in May.

Wan Azizah visits poor families in PD

2pm: Bagan Pinang - On the campaign trail for her husband, Pakatan Harapan candidate Anwar Ibrahim, Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail visits low-income families in Kampung Paya.

As Bernama reports, a member of one of these families, Zaiton Mihat, was overjoyed with Wan Azizah's visit, having never had a national leader appear in her house before. 

“I really did not expect the deputy prime minister to visit my husband who is suffering from Parkinson’s Disease...I found out about her visit last night. This is the first time I am meeting Wan Azizah.

"I am grateful for her concern and that she is visiting us.

“She reminded my husband to keep taking the medication,” she told reporters. -Mkini
