MAHATHIR TELLS HADI TO GET LOST: ‘I’M GOING TO PD TO CAMPAIGN FOR ANWAR, WHAT NEED IS THERE FOR FORUM WITH HADI’

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad today indicated that he is ready to have a forum with PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.

However, the premier said that it would not be in Port Dickson, as his visit there tomorrow was to campaign for Pakatan Harapan candidate Anwar Ibrahim.

“There is no need (to have a forum with Hadi in Port Dickson). I will be going there tomorrow evening to campaign for Anwar, not to have forum with him.

“Maybe another day,” he told reporters after attending United Nations Association Malaysia dinner in Kuala Lumpur.

Mahathir, who is the chairperson of Pakatan Harapan governing coalition, was responding to Hadi’s remarks made earlier today that he wanted to have a forum with the prime minister in Port Dickson.

Hadi had indicated his intention to engage the prime minister in a forum session during a press conference at PAS headquarters in Teluk Kemang.

“If there is a forum with the prime minister, that would be best,” Hadi said.
