MACC has revealed that 37 Pakatan Harapan leaders have yet to declare their assets to the anti-graft commission.
Federal Territories Deputy Minister Shahruddin Md Salleh is the sole member of the current administration who has not done so.
MACC deputy chief commissioner (prevention) Shamshun Baharin Mohd Jamil told Malaysiakini that the rest included 13 MPs and 24 political aides.
"To date, as per the update I received from my personnel who are processing the data from (declaration) forms we received, so far he (Shahruddin) has yet to submit (his details)," he added.
However, Shamshun said he is not sure if Shahruddin declared his assets to Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Malaysiakini has contacted the deputy minister, who is the Berstu MP for Sri Gading, for comment.
Shamshun said Harapan lawmakers and members of the government must declare their assets to the prime minister and furnish a copy of their details to MACC.
"It is not our duty to get (the declarations) from them. That is their promise to the rakyat. A copy of the declaration must be submitted to MACC," he added.
MACC has been publishing the details on its website in line with Harapan's promise of transparency and good governance.
The latest check revealed that Beruas MP Ngeh Khoo Ham still topped the list with assets amounting to RM77.011 million.
The DAP leader is a lawyer, who runs his own legal firm in Perak.
