MIC leaders have finally shown the Indian community what they are worth. To remain relevant, they are prepared to join PAS whose leaders had always undermined Indians by calling them "kuli", "pendatang" and so forth.
Although Indians had a rich history in developing Malaya then, PAS leaders had always belittle their existence by calling them "pendatang".
With the fall of the Barisan Nasional (BN), MIC had lost its fame as the "Champions of the Indian community" while they only managed to secure 1 MP (Tapah) in Parliament (after surrendering Cameron Highlands to UMNO) since GE 14.
PAS leaders have to-date not offered any remorse statement on their undermining slur on the Indians.
Indians are treated worst than third class citizens in Malaysia and MIC had failed miserably in addressing this matter.
MIC leaders only want government positions for themselves while neglecting the basic needs of the Indian community.
Its time for the MIC members NOT a small numbers of its leaders to decide on the fate and future of MIC. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
