Two directors to leave Pharmaniaga

Two of Pharmaniaga Bhd’s independent non-executive directors, Izzat Othman and Fahmy Ismail will be leaving the group with effect from July 31.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Pharmaniaga said both Izzat and Fahmy are leaving to pursue other interest.

Izzat, a lawyer by profession, was formerly a director of Affin Securities Sdn Bhd and BH Insurance Bhd and has vast experience relating to litigation, conveyancing and corporate matters.

Meanwhile, Fahmy joined Boustead Holdings Bhd (BHB) in 2006 as the corporate planning manager and was appointed group finance director in October 2017.

He was appointed as BHB chief operating officer on Jan 1, 2019, concurrently with his position as the finance director.
