Former deputy religious affairs minister Ahmad Marzuk Shaary is the latest person to join netizens in criticising the upcoming film 'Pulau'.
Marzuk claimed that the horror thriller “contains scenes that are obscene and excessive”.
The PAS central leader also mocked government leaders for staying silent on this issue.
“There are no ministers speaking up on this?” he asked on Facebook today.
Malaysiakini is attempting to get a response from the movie’s director Euho.
The film is set to premiere in cinemas on March 9.
The cast includes Aliff Satar, Amelia Henderson, Ikmal Amry, Joey Leong, Harris Annuar, Evie Feroza, Ms Puiyi, Namron, Mark O’Dea and Sabronzo Dolla. - Mkini
