KUALA LUMPUR: Sembrong MP Hishammuddin Hussein does not know why he and nine other Barisan Nasional MPs are being labelled as traitors for signing statutory declarations backing Muhyiddin Yassin after the general election (GE15).

The BN treasurer-general said they had toed the line when the coalition finally made a decision, and retracted their declarations.

“To this day I don’t know why we are being accused of being traitors. I’m confident that, for what has transpired, there’s nothing that we should be apologetic over.

“If they want to take action (against us), go ahead. There’s nothing for me to worry about.”
