PKR will officially kick off election campaigns for six states for the looming state polls starting tomorrow, its deputy president Rafizi Ramli said.
In a Twitter post, Rafizi (above) said the campaigns in Selangor, Penang and Kedah would be held tomorrow, while the one in Negeri Sembilan will be on Sunday.
As for Terengganu and Kelantan, the Pandan MP said these would be held next Saturday (Jan 21).
“I will launch the state election conventions, starting tomorrow.
“God willing, we will only utilise the party’s platform to campaign for the state elections so that we do not use any government resources.
“Meet me on my truck tour series, starting this February,” Rafizi said.
States that are under the rule of Pakatan Harapan - Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Penang, as well as the PAS-led states of Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan - are due to hold their state elections this year.
The mandates of the state governments in all of these states will expire in less than six months. - Mkini
