TO HISHAMUDDIN HUSSEIN ONN (H20) AND 'FRIENDS'

 

I have not said anything about the recent UMNO assembly or any of the crap that has come out of that assembly.  UMNO has become a really third class 'pari_h' party. 

There is no doubt that they will be fully wiped out not only in the coming State elections in Kedah, Penang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan and Terengganu but in the next GE as well. The party is in its final death throes.

The president has simply taken the crudest approach to survive-at-all costs especially since he still has those 47 corruption charges hanging over his head. 

He has not been clever but he has been fortunate in that his old buddy is also as equally desperate as him to survive. The two are now scratching each other's back. 

i. Hishamuddin Onn must realise as clear as day that he will NOT be fielded as a candidate in the next GE. If the president keeps his job in the party (and it looks like he will) H2O and friends in UMNO will be dropped from the next General Elections. That is a certainty.

ii. Even if UMNO loses those Parliamentary seats held by Hishamuddin and his friends it will not make any difference to the president. In fact that would be even better. H2O and friends will still be out of Parliament and out of any future government. They will not be a threat to the president anymore. 

iii. Maybe PKR and PH will have a better chance at winning those seats now held by H2O and his friends. The UMNO president and the PKR president are bossom buddies - from a very long time ago.  Even if the president himself loses his own Parliamentary seat that is not important. The president's main priority now are those 47 charges he is facing in court. The next Court hearing date is already postponed to April. 

 

H2O resigning his Parliamentary seat is not an option because he will be barred from contesting for five years. Resigning from UMNO may also not be an option because the Anti Hopping Law will declare his Parliamentary seat void and he may still not be allowed to re-contest any Parliamentary seat under any flag also for five years.

 

He will need to be kicked out of Umno. But if he is not kicked out of Umno he will just  stagnate and get dropped at the next GE. 

The really stupid Anti Hopping Law has made dictatorships of the political parties.  Hishamuddin's options are very limited.
