Police say their bodies were found near a Tenaga Nasional Berhad pylon at Taman Rapat Perdana this morning.

Ipoh police chief Najib Hamzah said the department received a tip-off at 10am regarding the incident at a Tenaga Nasional Berhad pylon.
“Acting on the information, a police team went to the location where three men were confirmed dead at the scene.
“An initial investigation suggests that the trio were electrocuted while attempting to cut electric cables on the TNB pylon,” he said in a statement.
The bodies were sent to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital forensics department for a post-mortem.
The case is being investigated under Sections 379/511 of the Penal Code for attempted theft, and has also been classified as sudden death pending further investigation. - FMT
