The airline says it does not provide customer service through phone calls.

The airline said posts sharing phone numbers falsely claiming to be the official AirAsia helpline have been circulating online, and that these numbers are not affiliated with the company.
“The numbers are suspected to be part of a scam targeting travellers seeking assistance with their bookings. AirAsia would like to clarify that it does not provide customer service via phone calls.
“AirAsia strongly advises the public to avoid contacting numbers from unverified sources, to be cautious of any links received via WhatsApp or other messaging platforms, and to refrain from sharing personal information, booking references or payment details with parties whose identities cannot be confirmed,” it said in a statement.
It said all official customer support services are available exclusively through AskBo, the airline’s digital support platform, through which customers can get help with flight bookings, schedule changes, travel information and other services swiftly and securely.
