Foreigner found dead with 14 stab wounds in JB hotel room

 Police say the woman is believed to have been killed between 1.30am and 4.30am today, and that a male suspect fled the scene soon after.

PETALING JAYA:

 A 37-year-old foreigner was found dead with 14 stab wounds all over her body in a hotel room in Johor Bahru, Johor, early this morning.

Johor Bahru Selatan police chief Raub Selamat said a report was lodged at about 5.30am after the body was discovered in the room at the hotel in Taman Maju Jaya.

He said the victim is believed to have been killed between 1.30am and 4.30am and that a male suspect, also a foreigner, had fled the scene after the stabbing.

“The victim had 11 stab wounds on the chest, one on the neck, one on her right hand and one on her right arm,” he said in a statement.

The case is being investigated for murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code. - FMT
