KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines will temporarily resume return services to Jeddah and Madinah from March 4 to 8 following a brief suspension due to airspace closures in parts of the Middle East, the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) said.
In a statement today, MAG said services to Doha (DOH) will remain suspended until March 7 as it continues to monitor developments in the region.
"All other flights, including services to London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle, remain on schedule, operating on alternative routings well clear of the affected conflict zone," the statement said.
Among the scheduled services are flights MH156 and MH157 between Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah on March 4 and 5, with additional rotations on March 6 and 8.
Services to and from Madinah will operate on March 5 and 6.
MAG said services beyond March 8 remain subject to further review and may be revised if necessary.
Affected passengers are being notified and assisted with alternative travel arrangements where required.
They are also advised to update their contact details via the "My Booking" portal for timely updates. - NST
