Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd says alternative trains and free shuttle trains are available to assist affected passengers.

In a statement, Rapid Rail said it is currently working to restore power supply along the MRT route.
It also said that a thorough repair is needed to ensure the system resumes operation safely.
“The MRT service is expected to recover in stages over three days. Alternative trains and free shuttle buses are available throughout the disruption period to help passengers continue their journeys (to their destinations).
“Passengers are also recommended to use alternative rail routes,” said Rapid Rail in the statement.
Rapid Rail said checks found that power cables were cut and stolen near the Damansara Damai station, causing “serious” disruptions to its services.
It said that extensive repair work was needed, with disruptions expected to continue throughout the day. - FMT
