IT IS said that the greatest motivation is the fear of death, not money or assets. After all, how much money can you spend or how many assets can you enjoy if you are dead?
So it comes as a surprise for people to read about a person so depressed and down that they are willing to take their lives instead of continuing this sad existence.
But it appears that not all suicide are what they seem. Tell that to two girls who have undoubtedly made “suicide history” by attempting to take their own lives by jumping down the first floor of a building.
The story was brought to light by a post by netizen @mynewshub on X. And looking at the girls in the photo with their feet hanging just several metres away from the ground, we would have thought that this was just an elaborate joke.
Our fellow netizens are tickled pink by their antics too. According to @MuhammadZu67956, this isn’t suicide, but more like falling off a chair.

Another netizen pointed out that they were merely taking in some fresh air.
Also, @dewatian258 said he once jumped down a bridge that was higher than this to bathe in the river.
Then there was @Poisoned86 putting the blame on all the Korean dramas that the younger generation loved to watch.
The best comment award probably goes to netizen @random_malaysia:
However, @_halahalaah also warned that death can happen if the girls were to fall on their heads and hit the drain or a cement surface.

Whatever the true intention may have been, one thing is certain. This was perhaps the least convincing suicide attempt in recent memory.
Instead of a tragic ending, the duo accidentally gifted the internet a comedy sketch complete with live audience commentary.
Still, perhaps next time, a walk downstairs would be the safer and less dramatic option. — Focus Malaysia
