PENAMPANG: A man was found dead near the lobby of a condominium in Jalan Bundusan earlier today after reportedly falling from a unit on the 26th floor.

The 34-year-old was found with severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Teams from the Penampang police Criminal Investigation Department, alongside the D10 Forensics Unit from the Sabah police headquarters, were sent to investigate.

Penampang police chief Superintendent Sammy Newton said no criminal elements were found.

The body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Department at Queen Elizabeth I Hospital (HQE I) in Kota Kinabalu.

The case has been classified as a sudden death report (SDR), pending a post-mortem.
