Police said all the 27 victims had consumed food obtained from outside sources on June 4.

KUALA LUMPUR: Some 27 people, including tahfiz students and residents of an elderly care home, are reported to be in stable condition after coming down with suspected food poisoning at a tahfiz centre in Kundang, Rawang, near here.
Sungai Buloh police chief Hafiz Nor said the victims included elderly people aged between 62 and 84. Preliminary investigations showed that all the victims had consumed food obtained from outside sources on June 4.
Health officials from Gombak have conducted investigations and collected food samples for laboratory analysis.
