Nur Qaira Alisha Ahmad Ilwan had heart issues and was allegedly forced to join the run despite her medical condition.

Fadhlina said the Kedah education department is investigating the case following a complaint filed by the family of the late Nur Qaira Alisha Ahmad Ilwan.
“I have also ordered the integrity unit to take further action in line with the regulations and laws that are in force, based on the principle of justice for all,” she said in a Facebook post.
According to Malaysiakini, Qaira’s family claimed the girl, who had suffered from heart problems since infancy, was forced to join the run on April 15 despite a medical letter confirming her condition.
The family said Qaira complained about feeling nauseous after the run and appeared extremely exhausted. She was warded on April 24 after vomiting repeatedly and developing a swelling around her eye.
The girl had remained in hospital since the incident and was in receipt of respiratory support before passing away yesterday. - FMT
