IGP Khalid Ismail says police are trying to obtain a statement from the woman, who is now in Negeri Sembilan.

Inspector-General of Police Khalid Ismail said several people linked to the case have been called to give statements to assist in the investigation.
Khalid said police are also trying to obtain a statement from the woman involved, who is not from Kelantan and is currently in Negeri Sembilan.
“I will not compromise with any officer who acts contrary to the law. Firm action against officers found to have violated the law or the force’s regulations is important to ensure that integrity and public confidence in the police force are maintained,” Berita Harian quoted him as saying today.
The issue came to light following allegations, which had gone viral, that a Kuala Krai-based officer had engaged in misconduct involving the wife of a man detained in connection with a drug case. - FMT
