DAP's S Preakas says the coalition should focus on its own strength.

PH should focus on its own strengths instead, said S Preakas.
“If we are too dependent on others, it could cause problems in the future.
“Look at what is happening now. They abandoned us when there were issues or shortcomings,” the Kota Kemuning assemblyman told FMT.
Preakas said this in reference to Barisan Nasional assemblymen withdrawing support for then Negeri Sembilan menteri besar Aminuddin Harun in April, which paved the way for a state election that PH ultimately lost.
He was also referring to the time Bersatu withdrew from the first Pakatan Harapan government during the “Sheraton Move”.
BN and PH are currently working together at the federal level.
Preakas’s comments come a day after a Bersatu assemblyman in Selangor said it was “not impossible” for the party to back menteri besar Amirudin Shari’s administration until the end of its term.
Gombak Setia assemblyman and Bersatu Youth chief Hilman Idham said Bersatu worked with both BN and PH in the past.
Hilman said this when asked if Bersatu’s Selangor assemblymen would emulate their two colleagues in Pahang, who declared their support for menteri besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail until the next state election.
In the 2023 Selangor state election, PH won 32 of the 56 state seats while Perikatan Nasional won 22 – 12 for Bersatu and 10 for PAS. BN won two seats. - FMT
