A vote for Harapan is a vote for DAP, says PAS

PAS Youth chief Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi has declared a vote for Pakatan Harapan would ultimately be a vote for DAP.

Khalil's statement came less than a week after Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) strategist Rais Hussin said a vote for PAS was a vote for Umno.

"DAP's movements are shadowed by the Christian evangelist agenda which has the ambition to establish a secular state.

"DAP's actions also clearly shows it wants to become the dominant party in Harapan and chart the coalition's direction.

"This exposes the reality that a vote for a party within Harapan would be a vote for DAP," he said in a statement.

Khalil, who is the son of PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, accused DAP of being a hypocrite and “hiding behind” the Harapan parties.

He also accused Harapan of inviting foreign intervention in the country which he said will result in Islam being victimised.

"Therefore, defeating BN and Harapan will be an important mission of salvation for the nation in the 14th general election," he said.

Khalil said PAS was confident it can win at least 40 parliamentary seats and four state governments. - Mkini
