AZIZAH WARNS NAJIB: THIS IS NOW A FULL-FLEDGED ‘RAKYAT’ TSUNAMI – NO LONGER JUST A MALAY OR URBAN WAVE

PETALING JAYA – The following are some of the highlights of the 14th general elections for the day:
PKR PRESIDENT DATUK Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said what she saw now was a “Rakyat Tsunami”, not just “Malay Tsunami”.
She said during a joint interview with the Chinese press in the country that all Malaysians irrespective of race wanted to change the government.
She was optimistic Pakatan Harapan could win the 14th general elections with a simple majority
Not only in West Malaysia, Wan Azizah said a strong anti-establishment sentiment could be felt in Sabah, too.
TUN DAIM ZAINUDDIN said it was silly for the police to probe Tun Mahathir Mohamad for spreading “fake news” that his aircraft was sabotaged on the eve of the nomination day.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim confirmed that the city police had so far received eight complaints on the election since the nomination day last weekend.
LIM GUAN ENG told the supporters in Penang last night that Umno’s fortress in Johor was shaky now, and that a powerful anti-establishment sentiment could be felt in the East Malaysian state of Sabah as well.
He said the ceramah in Pasir Gudang, Johor, attracted 15,000 people, 90% of whom Malays, adding that this was impossible in the past.
PAKATAN HARAPAN’S CERAMAH in Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, last night drew a massive crowd of almost 40,000 supporters.
