Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigations Department Director (CCID) director Datuk Seri Amar Singh Ishar Singh when contacted confirmed that the vault was successfully opened with the help of two locksmiths.
He said the process of opening the cafe began at 12.21pm yesterday and finished at 3am yesterday.
“At 3am yesterday, the police in collaboration with two locksmiths had managed to open eight safes,” he said.
