My comments : Once again we can see why the Middle East is so screwed up. This is the level of analysis and thinking of their academics.
There is more going on here.
Tun Dr Mahathir has said that Malaysia's foreign policy should be friendly towards all nations. This means that we should be bringing back our RMAF boys who have now been "saving Malaysian students" for THREE YEARS in the Saudi Arabian - Yemen conflict.
That is a lie. Our Armed Forces are stationed in Saudi Arabia as a member of their evil coalition that is indiscriminately killing men, women and children in the Yemen.
Whether we play an active or passive role, that role should stop.
It also means that Saudi Arabia and the UAE's clueless aggression against Yemen will not only be losing an ally (when Malaysia pulls out) but also more legitimacy in the eyes of the world.
This is why they are panicky. Hence the illogical statements.
