Pakatan Harapan government will present its mid-term budget for 2018 in September, said Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali.
The 2018 Budget passed in Parliament will be maintained for the time being, he said after clocking-in at his new ministry today.
"The 2018 Budget will remain, but (we) need to look into several projects which were issued with letter of acceptance (surat setuju terima) due to lack of transparency, and projects (decided) in a hasty manner," he said.
Azmin added that the government will also review certain projects which have been accepted and approved via the tender process.
"We want to see all mega projects approved by the previous administration. We have to revisit and renegotiate the terms."
They include the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) and Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR), Azmin said.
However, he added, matters pertaining to ECRL and HSR were not discussed in his briefing with the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) earlier today.
