PUTRAJAYA: Several legal bigwigs arrived at the Perdana Leadership Foundation this afternoon, apparently for a meeting with Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad whose office is located on the premises.
Those seen entering the compound included Chief Justice Raus Sharif, former Federal Court judge Gopal Sri Ram and former attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail.
Members of the media seen outside the Perdana Leadership Foundation, which houses Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s office.
Gani had been part of a special task force to investigate 1MDB, but was removed midway through the probe.
A new task force is being formed by Mahathir’s administration to investigate the troubled state fund.
