Vehicles exiting the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya are being searched, reported Berita Harian.
A video uploaded by the daily showed MACC security personnel opening the boot of a vehicle leaving the premises.
It is uncertain why these checks are taking place nor can it be ascertained if MACC head Dzukefly Ahmad was still fully in charge.
The MACC became a focal point immediately after Dr Mahathir Mohamad was appointed prime minister on Thursday and promised to undertake reform measures.
Last Friday, Mahathir, in an unofficial policy speech, indicated that there may be changes made to the heads of key government agencies.
Mahathir had said that his administration would study if the MACC had been fair.
"We will study if the MACC is fair or not. If we find they were biased in any way, including to ourselves (those in Pakatan Harapan), we will have to change them.
"As we promised, the new major heads of government (agencies) will be vetted by Parliament," he said. -Mkini
