The 14th General Elections have just concluded.
One of the most important question is still unanswered, UMNO's validity.
UMNO failed to comply with its own party constitution by not holding its party elections after having a grace period of 18 months to delay the party elections.
Does UMNO have the second attempt to delay their party polls. The UMNO constitution does not allow that.
The ROS is a administrative statutory body and its main duty is to ensure that all societies comply and abide by their own constitution in line with the Societies Act.
The ROS has no powers to violate the societies constitution by issuing letters to grant 'unlawful' extensions.
Since UMNO had failed to abide with its own party constitution by failing to hold its party elections, the ROS have no other alternative but to deregister UMNO as of 20 April 2018.
Since there is NO UMNO and the candidates of BN who contested in the GE14, the consenting BN letter to use the BN party and its logo were issued and signed by Datuk Sri Najib Razak, all BN candidates should be disqualified and a fresh by-elections should be conducted immediately, where these BN candidates have won.
