The party's official portal publishes a list of projects and programmes as proof of the former PM's contributions to the nation over the last nine years.

PETALING JAYA: Umno’s official portal today paid tribute to its former president Najib Razak, listing 179 contributions including major infrastructure projects carried out during his administration.
An article in Umno Online said these were proof that Najib had been more successful than his replacement, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, despite having ruled for only nine years compared to Mahathir’s 22.
“Imagine, if he was in power for 22 years like Mahathir, there would certainly have been more contributions that Najib could make for all of us,” said the article, shared from a website of an Umno blogger.
The list is divided into eight “phases”, although it is unclear on what grounds. The phases are named Direct, Santai, Experimental, Gabungan, Cerita, Start, Crossover and Overture.
The list includes the TRX tower which was due to be opened next month, the Urban Transformation Centres (UTC) throughout the country, the Mass Rail Transit (MRT) and the integration of public transport within the Klang Valley.
Also mentioned were the 1Malaysia campaign, Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (B1RM) cash handout programme and the 1Malaysia clinics.
The 180th item on the list reads: “To be continued, insha Allah”.
This came after former trade minister Rafidah Aziz dismissed Najib’s contributions to the country.
“His legacy is rubbish. Scandals after scandals that cannot be explained, and scandals after scandals that pointed to greed, avarice, wanting to use money for power and not really governing but governing by slogans,” she said in a recent radio interview. - FMT
