Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Was Shot In Coup Attempt In April

Recall the fake news that someone flew a toy drone too near the Saudi royal palace in Riyadh and the troops began shooting at the drone?  At the same time the toy drone was so threatening that the Saudi King and the Crown Prince were both evacuated to an underground bunker.

I suspected (and said so then) that it was an attempted coup de etat.  Well here is some news from Saudi Arabia :

Saudi activist revealed Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman shot, injured
not been seen in public over past few weeks
heavy gunfire from outside royal palace in Riyadh last month

Mohammed al-Mas’ari, sec-gen of Islamic Revival Party said
bin Salman hit by bullets during late April attack

bin Salman’s injury leaked by sources within royal family
widely circulating on Twitter

gunfire was in fact coup led by royals against King Salman

activists said shooting had nothing to do with drone

incident happened after heir wrapped up whirlwind global tour

Back home tension within royal family

No new photo or video of bin Salman released by state media
long disappearance raised speculation about fate of crown prince

PressTV-Bin Salman not seen in public since alleged coup attempt
bin Salman evacuated to bunker at military base for safety

Bin Salman’s month-long disappearance contrasts high-profile tour in US

attack came after a self-promoting campaign at home
hundreds of royals detained and tortured
released after financial settlement with kingdom

strangest thing about this uprising is that it is coming from above

15,000 princes and princesses and hangers-on

internal power struggle within royal family
Muhammad bin Nayef, Mutab Bin Abdullah dissatisfied with Yemen war
palace coup to save kingdom from destructive policies

crown prince's anti-Palestinian stance offended Muslim world
Relations between Riyadh and Tel Aviv warming up rapidly
since bin Salman became crown prince

bin Salman attempting normalization of relations with Israel
met with pro-Israel American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)

Saudi intervention in Syria failed
military intervention in Yemen botched

doubt on bin Salman’s Vision 2030 project
Saudi “dream” of becoming dominant power “disastrous” failure

My comments : I believe I understand the Arabs to a certain extent. It is going to take a long while for them to get their act together.  Their religion has led them far astray. Sesat atas sesat.  They also suffer a culture that is not modern.
