KOTA KINABALU: The excitement is palpable at No 8, Taman Golfview here in the wee hours of Thursday (May 10) – the home of Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
Supporters as well as several candidates walked in and waited for official results to be announced, which is taking longer than expected.
Unofficial results have been circulating for hours.
Shafie has claimed victory for the Pakatan Harapan coalition, but chose to be cautious saying that he 'feared inaccurate unofficial results'..
The Election Commission is slowly updating GE14 results and are providing live results via their official website.
A total of 32 state and 12 federal results have been announced in Sabah so far, with Pakatan parties leading.-Star
