Alamak !! Tun Dr Mahathir Easily Dismisses Anwar Ibrahim's Fairy Tales About Malay Rulers

Folks, Anwar Ibrahim said it was an "arduous task" for him to convince all the Malay Rulers to accept the appointment of Tommy Thomas as the AG.

This is bullshit. Anwar achieved no such thing.  

Here is our straight talking Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed  telling us the truth of what really happened.  Anwar Ibrahim had no role in the Malay Rulers making up their minds.

( "on the advice of the Rulers themselves". So there was no such thing as the "arduous process" that Anwar Ibrahim was talking about. It was pure Anwar Ibrahim bullshit.)

Dr M suggested Thomas but did not get consent of Agong, who asked more names

Dr M insisted Thomas was his only pick

Malay rulers planned emergency meeting to end impasse

Dr M said delay in his swearing-in should not have happened
as the law must be obeyed

He said most of the Malay rulers did not agree with delay
and wanted to reach solution as soon as possible

My comments : So Tun Dr Mahathir says that the majority of the Rulers did not have problems with both his swearing in as well as the appointment of Tommy Thomas as the new AG.

It was just Anwar Ibrahim's bullshit going around and making it appear that he saved the situation single handedly.

I say Malaysian Media, please go and ask Anwar Ibrahim  about what Dr Mahathir has now revealed.  

Dr Mahathir point  that  several sultans visited him to convey their views on the stand-off  and that   "most of the Malay rulers did not agree with the delay  and wanted to reach a solution as soon as possible"  totally rubbishes Anwar Ibrahim's claim that it was difficult to convince the Malay rulers to accept the appointment of Tommy Thomas.

Anwar Ibrahim supporters,  go and ask Anwar to explain this.  Dr Mahathir's simple and honest explanation has punched huge holes in Anwar's story telling.
