An Assignment For Tommy Thomas, A Call To Tengku Razaleigh

In his first Press Conference as Attorney General,  Encik Tommy Thomas has made  bold and brilliant promises.  He came across as saying that he will prosecute all cases without any fear or favours and "no one will be spared".

Congratulations to our new Attorney General Encik Tommy Thomas. May I pledge my full support to the Attorney General's Chambers if you are indeed  undertaking upon this glorious path. It will help reverse the vainglorious undertakings of the previous kleptocratic regime. 

Here is yet another crime that was perpetrated by members of the previous kleptocratic regime.  This involves GBH or Grievous Bodily Harm where a young man who had been dating the daughter of Zahid Hamidi (the previous DPM and long time Cabinet Minister under the kleptocracy)  was severely beaten up to the extent that this young man suffered permanent damage to his face and skull. You can observe the depression on his forehead as a result of his head being smashed with an iron bar and rocks. 

The incident happened in 2006. I know a Police Report was made somewhere along the line.  But the Police investigation did not go anywhere because no one was charged for this crime.  Here is the You Tube video.

So I hope Tommy Thomas the new AG will watch this video and reopen this case. For most certainly there was a Police investigation about this attack.

The issue here is not Zahid Hamidi, UMNO, Tommy Thomas, Dr Mahathir, Pakatan Harapan or whoever.  The issue here is this young man in the video. What happens to his rights? Who speaks up for him? Who will defend him? Who will stand up for his rights and the justice that he deserves?

I have DELIBERATELY NOT MENTIONED HIS NAME. 

Do you care? 

Tell me folks, who cares about his name?

Does anyone really care? 

You will not care until this happens to you.

And it might. You never know.

But who stands up for the rights of the ordinary people? 

The everyday people? 

Like you and me?

Does anyone give a shit?

I choose my words carefully.  I know our new AG Encik Tommy Thomas will have no fear to go after the crooks and the bad guys.  But let not there be any favour either. The phrase is 'with neither fear nor favour'.  

So I do hope that Encik Tommy Thomas will reopen this case quickly and help deliver the long delayed justice to this poor young man who had his skull bashed in, his nose was broken and his jawbone was also cracked. 

Can we see an arrest by the end of next week?   The boy has waited 12 years for some kind of justice.  Do not let him wait even a day longer.

Which brings us to the next issue.  Dato Mustapa Mohamed does not wish to run for the UMNO presidency.  

This means that the front runner for the presidenct's spot in UMNO is the same Zahid Hamidi.  

Is that all UMNO has got?  Maybe as Tun Dr Mahathir has said, it is better for UMNO to elect Khairy jamaluddin as its next president.

Because most certainly even if 10% of what the young man says in that video above is true, then Zahid Hamidi should also go to jail.  For some time.

The question is is UMNO soo stupid that they will elect ONE MORE president who may one day soon be hauled off to jail?

By the way have you heard the latest?  Bugis may be going to jail in the US first.  It will save us the expense and the trouble of a long winded and "orang-kampong-tak-faham-apa-pun" situation again.   

Just let the US extradite Bugis first, try him and lock him up. After that Switzerland will get a crack at him, then after that maybe Singapore. 

By the time he finishes all these jail times,  it will be TN50.  Haa haa.  I will be  fishing  in the Wabash River  again, this time with my grandkids. Insya Allah. 

So Bugis will be jailed, the newly resigned  president of their party.  

If Zahid is elected party president and the same fate befalls Zahid, then  UMNO will hold the world record of having TWO of their presidents being sent to jail.

This is not a very big "if".  This is an "if" that is going to happen. 

The Bugis fate is sealed.

Tommy Thomas holds the fate of Zahid Hamidi in his lawbooks.  Without fear yes. Also without 'favour' Tommy.

So minus Tok Pa, minus Zahid (Khairy is just a joke ok) who can lead UMNO?  

All the common sense points towards Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah. 

You cannot get older school than Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed and Tun Daim Zainuddin. But it is Tun Dr Mahathir who won the elections for the Pakatan Harapan.  

The people did not vote for Tun Dr Mahathir's age.  The people voted for the experience, Rock of Gibralter type stability and dynamism. And we are getting it in overdose.    Except for the Education Minister (getting stuck longer on useless religion),   Tun Dr Mahathir, Tun Daim and a team of young ministers have started working  and showing the way forward.  Things are moving.  There is now a freer press in the country.  

That is the formula that has brought success to the Pakatan Harapan. 

In the same manner UMNO should look at Tengku Razaleigh. Not for his age.  UMNO needs the credibility and the integrity.  Most of all  UMNO needs simple manners.  

UMNO has had enough of the thieves, the cowards, the mamak 2nd hand car salesmen, the anak mami cowherders, the samseng pukul orang,  the uglies appearing on the catwalk with no qualms (they think they look good). 

UMNO needs a complete revamp.  A complete overhaul.  NO ONE FROM A LOSING TEAM LIKE THE EXISTING PIMPINAN PARTI DAN MAJLIS TERTINGGI UMNO CAN DO THIS.  NO WAY. 

Why?   Kenapa tak boleh? 

Because the losing team are  the crooks, the thieves, those with no manners, not even simple manners  and the ketuanan dummies.

(Kekawan : Apakah rahsia sahabat2 ketuanan?  Answer : "Mereka tidak mempunyai relevan di atas muka bumi Allah. That is the answer.)   

At this point in time,  Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah appears to be the one person who can undertake this urgent and drastic reform of UMNO.

Impeccable old school politeness. Steady.  Stable. Honor. Integrity. And most importantly Tengku Razaleigh has a clear idea on what should be done to reform and turnaround UMNO.

Now the question is does UMNO have the smarts to differentiate between the kaca and the permata?

Does UMNO know what is good for them?

At this point in time, that seems to be unclear. 

Blur is the better word.
